How does Infinite EPS® work?
Your Infinite EPS® solar power back-up system allows you to store the electricity your solar energy system produces during the day and use it when you need it most. Situations such when the electric grid fails, due to an extreme weather event or physical damage to the equipment or power cutbacks in the evening during time of use (TOU) peak pricing.
But what happens during a power outage?
Your Infinite EPS® system will automatically disconnect from the grid in the event of a power outage and restore power in your home in a matter of seconds. Your rooftop solar panels will continue to recharge your Infinite EPS solar back-up system until the grid is up and running again.

YES, Infinite EPS® is designed for use on new construction, and it can be retrofit to an existing system. Please ask your solar provider to analyze your usage, backup requirements and current solar system output to decide which model of Infinite EPS® is best for you.
Most batteries in our Infinite EPS® systems are installed and configured with baseline settings by your solar installer. Solar batteries last anywhere between 10 and 15 years, and manufacturers typically offer a 10-year warranty.
One of the best solar storage incentives is the Federal Solar Tax Credit. The Federal Solar Tax Credit will deduct 22% of the cost of your solar energy system from your federal taxes. After 2021, the tax credit for residential solar ends.
