You will handle the mechanical side of PV installation — layout, flashing, racking, module setting, and torque. We install Q Cells, Mission Solar, and Silfab modules on IronRidge and Unirac racking, with Enphase microinverters and Sol-Ark hybrid inverters. Prior solar experience is a plus; roofing, framing, or electrical background transfers well.
What you will do
- Set and flash roof attachments to spec with no leaks, ever
- Assemble racking, set modules, and torque to manufacturer specification
- Run conduit and pull wire under the direction of a licensed electrician
- Document install with photos for the project file
- Leave every roof cleaner than you found it
What we need from you
- 1+ year in solar, roofing, framing, or a comparable construction trade
- Comfortable on pitched roofs with fall protection
- Able to read a plan set and a layout drawing
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
