Permit & Interconnection Coordinator

Nothing gets energized without you. You submit permit applications across Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County jurisdictions, manage utility interconnection with SCE and Riverside Public Utilities, chase inspections, and drive every project to Permission to Operate. You will know which plan checker wants what, and you will keep a tracker that tells anyone the exact status of any job in ten seconds.
What you will do
- Prepare and submit building and electrical permit applications by jurisdiction
- Manage utility interconnection applications through to PTO
- Schedule and coordinate city and utility inspections
- Resolve plan-check corrections with the PV designer
- Maintain an accurate permit and interconnection status tracker
- Track NEM application timing and grandfathering implications
What we need from you
- 2+ years permitting, entitlement, or construction administration
- Familiar with Southern California AHJ and utility portals
- Extremely organized with relentless follow-up
- Solar permitting experience strongly preferred
